SH 1503 complies with the current demands on higher capacity, better screening accuracy, lower operating costs, less noise impact, smaller CO2 footprint and safer work environment. In production mode it is very similar to stationary screens thanks to the high jacking legs.

The SH 1503 is a high-capacity screen yet still easy to work with. It features large rubber wheels for towing within the quarry and a hook at the rear for easy placement under the feeder or crusher. It is designed so that a trailer can easily back under the machine, and the high support legs also make it easy to keep the area around it clean.

What is the SH 1503?

The SH 1503 is our premium three-deck screening station with maximum capacity. It has an STE 3-94 screen box of 1.8 × 5.2 m and produces four fractions in one plant.

What capacity does the SH 1503 have?

Capacity depends on the material being screened, its moisture content and the final fractions you want to produce. In dry material, the SH 1503 handles up to around 500 tonnes per hour.

The SH 1503 is equipped with Maskin Mekano’s proven STE 3-94 screen, which has a screening area of 1.8 × 5.2 metres on three decks. The powerful 12 mm stroke stratifies the material quickly. The low incline of 11° keeps the material on the screen long enough for even fine and short fractions to be separated accurately. As a result, the SH 1503 has one of the highest capacities per square metre of screening area in the industry, and it maintains that capacity even with damp or sticky material.

How many conveyors does the machine have?

Four hydraulically folding conveyors: a 12.5 m fines conveyor, two mid-size conveyors and a radial oversize conveyor that swings for larger stockpiles.

What is special about the screen meshes?

The meshes on all three decks are the same size, end-tensioned and split in the middle for easy handling and optimum tensioning. Spring-loaded tensioners minimise retightening, and an unloading shelf on the fines conveyor makes mesh handling safer.

How easy is it to change screen meshes?

Meshes can be changed from both the front and the back. The feeding conveyor folds straight up for full access to the upper deck, the front chutes slide out and there is an extra catwalk at the front.

How is the SH 1503 transported?

The SH 1503 has a hook-lift frame and rubber wheels for moving on site and a chassis optimised for trailer transport. Transport dimensions are 9.8 × 3.0 × 3.55 m and the weight is about 30 tonnes. Set-up takes about 15 minutes.

How much power does the SH 1503 use and how much maintenance does it need?

On mains power the SH 1503 draws 24 kW. All conveyor bearings are lubrication-free, the screen bearings are centrally lubricated and the machine has only 4 lubrication points. The HMI screen with online connection lets our service team troubleshoot remotely.
